UNDERSTANDING THE AGE SUPPRESSION GENE/PROTEIN KLOTHO 

This riveting session will be about the Klotho gene and protein — the only age suppressor gene/protein found in mammals. It will review the origins of the klotho gene and protein and explain how it works on a cellular level in the human body to protect against oxidative stress, which is one of the main reasons we age. Dr. Humble will discuss all the research to-date which has been done with this unique gene as well as possible projected uses in the future in all fields of medicine.
