Dr Jacobs is Founder of Healing States Institute, a 501c3 focused on research, and healthcare for veterans and first-responders using healing states of consciousness therapies including psychedelic medicine, breath practices, and surf therapy.

He is Founder of BlueWave Medicine, a precision-based concierge medical practice based in the SF Bay Area. Dr Jacobs has led executive programs focused on conscious leadership and effective behavior change since 2006- clients include Google, Genentech, Charles Schwab, PepsiCo, and Stanford and Harvard Business Schools.

He was Endowed Professor and Founding Medical Director at University of California at San Francisco Osher Center for Integrative Medicine.
